Served as a member of the United States Air Force from 2004-2014. While in military tech school, David was reflecting back on his life prior to enlisting and realized that he enjoyed acting due to the success of his Trevor creation.

In 2008, he began studying acting with Caroline Thomas (Total Theatre Lab) thanks to a referal by Solomon Chertok. He continued his studies with Melvin Williams followed by attending the New York Film Academy. There he was a student of Blanche Baker, Lanre Olabisi, among others. While there his superiors voted him for the Dean’s List.

David is a two-time award winning screenplay writer. He has been on approximately fifty sets that include TV, film, music videos, and commericals. He joined SAG because of his time on Quantico. Shortly after joining the union he was signed by Dream Maker Talent Management, to whom he is still under contract with. David has spent over twenty one years working on creating the Trevor world as an actor, writer, co-director, and producer. He is very proud to have co-directed the film “Trevor” with his brother, experienced director, Brian DeCicco.
